Every Monday and Wednesday evenings from 7 to 8:30 PM there are free “ESL” English as a second language lessons and classes.

The free English conversation classes are offered at the Saint Paul’s Anglican Church
located at 227 Bloor Street East, Toronto, Ontario, Canada. St. Paul’s is located about 200 meters east of the Yonge and Bloor Street intersection on the south side of Bloor Street.

St Paul’s provides the location as a public service to the community and provides tea and coffee which usually goes well with cookies. Last week Roy brought my favourite Oreo cookies. They were great. You can bring snacks to the class.

The following are pictures of Bloor Street and St Paul’s.
If traveling by subway you can exit at the Yonge and Bloor subway stop. Exit on the south side of Bloor Street. You then walk east on the south side of Bloor Street for about 4 minutes.

To enter use the big glass doors between the main church and the Reception Hall. The first thing that you will see is the community information display and brochures. If you see something that will help you – they are for you.

Follow the sign “ESL Cafe” through the inside doors to the classes.

The ESL English instruction is provided by volunteers. The volunteers have patience, enthusiasm, good-will towards all and some even have ESL teacher certification.

The ESL English conversation classes are divided into beginner, intermediate and advanced language skill levels.

Conversation topics include current events, vacations, where to get stuff cheap, some politics, funny things about Canada, job training, career suggestions, where to go to school.

The FREE ESL English conversation classes have operated at St Paul’s for almost two years now and have helped adults, newcomers to Canada and students from Mexico, Peru, Colombia, Brazil, Argentina, Japan, China, Taiwan, Philippines, Cameroon, Iran, Iraq, Turkey, Bulgaria, Russia, Poland, Italy, France, Spain, Ivory Coast and many other countries. You can meet new friends from around the world.

Come and visit us this Monday and say hello to the volunteers: Dennis, Roy, Jack, Mark, Joy, Ju and myself.

Free English Class in Toronto Canada

It’s a pleasure for us to invite you to take part in the biggest educational fair in Bulgaria – “Education Beyond Borders”. We would like to inform you that for the first time will organize an additional event of our exhibition, which we named LANGUAGE WORLD! We will be pleased if you take a part in our special activity for world language organizations.

Spring is a perfect time for language programs abroad because Bulgarian students plan their summer. We will be happy welcome you to the first LANGUAGE WORLD in Sofia!

The education exhibition “Education Beyond Borders” will take place in the National Palace of Culture in Sofia, the capital of Bulgaria, between 11^th – 13^th March 2011 and 21^st – 23^th October 2011.

The National Palace of Culture is the largest multifunctional and congress complex in South Eastern Europe. There will be representatives from Europe, USA, Canada, Australia and Russia. To organize the biggest educational event in Bulgaria, we work with many embassies, educational and cultural organizations and Bulgarian state authorities.

The exhibition Education Beyond Borders is the only one Bulgarian event which has support by European Union – Programs CORDIS & TED.

The project includes several state educational organizations such as the Agency for Science and Higher Education of Croatia, the British Association of Chartered Certified Accountants, German Academic Exchange Service (DAAD), embassies and foreign ministries and others.

Please, do not forget to register before the deadline of the period because we need time to process the documents.
